Small God
04:28
|
|||
I can hear you now coming through
I can see but how I forgot to
When they said that you walked on water
Your steps were headlong
Cause I know, you are
A son, a light, oh come show me
I can hear you now coming through
I can see but how I forgot to
When they came on rolling thunder
Your bones were hollow
All I know, you are
A son, a light, oh come show me
Make me a small god
When it's you I'm so confused
And I get so tied around it
I get so down about it
I’m like a leper without your arms
So long
Year 91
So down about it
And I get so tied around it

Fading Fast
03:08
|
|||
Say goodbye to your loved ones
Save your breath on your enemies
I want you to remember
I wanted to remember
Before you I surrender to chemistry
Show me to the sunshine
Every day is your last when you’re fading fast
Say goodbye to the young ones
Hope to god in our blood memory
I want you to discover
I want you as a lover
Before you take another for brevity
Show me to the sunshine
Every day is your last when you’re fading fast

Hearts
04:34
|
|||
Tell me are you looking
I can never see your face
The silent ticking motion
The rising in the ocean waves
If I looked into your eyes
Would I see the fragments of doubt? I doubt
You’re the shrapnel in a soldier
The pressure in a sunken tomb
I didn’t know you’d stay
Hearts, they get carried away
Tell me are you lurking?
I can feel your ragged pace
Like the blink before the tremor
The shiver in the stomach ache
If I looked into your eyes
Would I see the fragments of doubt? I doubt
You’re a spider in the corner
The poison in the palace rooms
I didn’t know you’d stay

Rainfall
04:18
|
|||
I miss you like a lamb to its wool
I miss you like a dog to its buried bone
When there’s no recall, would you put yourself in front of me?
Like a photograph on the window sill, we are faded by the sun
I miss you like rainfall
Memory pours like rainfall
I miss you like a final episode
I miss you like the end of Abbey Road
Like a somersault with no landing spot to take from under me
Like a lightning bolt and no thunder call, we are drifting out to sea
I miss you like rainfall
Memory pours like rainfall
I won't agonise
I will sings these words with no disguise
Like rainfall

Lee Ranaldo
06:07
|
|||
I came round to your way of thinking
It took me down
I got down with you
Lost and found in your echo canyon
A cotton crown
I got down with you
You
Youth
Your diamond sound is dissonant genius
Lee Ranaldo I get down with you
Your silver rockets permanent shivers
Lee Ranaldo, I get down with you
Hail to the rain king
